Rama's Eco Surf School

This is not just a lesson: it is the first step in surfing. We guarantee you will stand up and ride your first waves in just one lesson! And we will take photos so you can prove it!

Our lesson begins on the beach with some theory and safety instruction. Then, we hit the waves and start surfing!

The lessons last about 2 hours; but, the adventure around the Uvita area can continue for hours! You bring sunscreen and a towel, we will bring everything else.

1 or 2 people: US $40 per person. Tucan Hotel guests: $30

3 or more: US$35 per person. Tucan Hotel guests: $25

This intensive surf course is ideal for those who are looking to either learn the basics of surfing or to improve their surfing. It consists of 3 full immersion days (2 lessons 1 1/2 hours each) At the end of this course you will be able to turn and ride waves!!

Special for those who are planning to run away from the daily rush and looking forward to relaxing, enjoying the local jungle, waterfalls, and the surf. It includes 4 full immersion days consisting of one 2 hour private lesson daily and the use of a surfboard for the entire time. On the 4th day take a surf trip to one of the nearby famous surf spots (Playa Dominical or Playa Matapalo) along with Rama and his surfing friends. Lessons will be scheduled either in the morning or afternoon depending upon the best surf conditions. The remainder of the day can be used to practice, take a tour, or just “kick back” and relax. We guarantee you a great time! Be prepared, this is a workout.
